They are developing more RIS functionality at the same time.Their approach in the market is 'you guys all have our RIS and we are the only ones who can guarantee integration so buy Centricity from us'. I realy don't like this approach and would like to go with AGFA who have a good product and who we have a good relationship with.<BR/>Here's my dilemma. I could stick with this local RIS tied to IMPAX with chewing gum which would make the bean counters happy in that they wouldn't have to spend on a new RIS and could continue with what they know. However, I have seen the AGFA RIS/PACS together in a busy department in Belgium and have developed the impression that to maximise the benefits of PACS one must have an integrated RIS/PACS from the same vendor.Specifically, a RIS that has advanced management features.<BR/>Am I on the right track or am I buying what I want not what I need?
