Due to some last minute family stuff, I won't be able to attend SIIM after all. However, my PACS guru will be there, and since he is somewhat less infamous than me, he will be stealthily gathering lots of good stuff that will appear here upon his return.
I would also welcome reports from anyone else attending the meeting. Let me know what you thought of the new toys, what you felt was the most innovative, funniest, etc. I'm counting on all of you to be my eyes in Seattle!

NOW you tell us? Don't you know snipers have a two week cancellation requirement? No wonder why GE stock is in the toilet- paying for services that won't ever be used...(laugh).
I'm there with you missing it now for the 3rd year in a row. Every year for the past 3 years SIIM has fallen on the same weekend that I have a men's retreat with guys at our church. This forces me to choose between personal growth and professional growth and personal always wins out. Of course, calling it a retreat is a little bit misleading- golf, white water rafting, high ropes adventures, jet skis, mountain biking, and stuff like that is all part of the "retreating" we do (retreating from wives and kids), but we do talk about personal issues as well so....it's the best of all worlds.
Let's see what kind of feedback we get from the eyes that are there. Charlotte next year also looks more do-able- depending on the dates that is. Have a great weekend my friend!!
